My Interests

My interests cover several areas, and this list is hardly comprehensive. But hopefully it gives a good scattershot of what I do.

a. Administrative Law
Summary: I'm interested in navigating the complex and changing landscape of administrative law, with a focus on judicial deference. My main area of focus is the major questions doctrine with extended focuses on Loper Bright, Chevron, Skidmore, and various APA-related questions.
Relevant Experience: See projects page for complete list of work.

b. Public Policy & Economics
Summary: I'm interested in solving complicated public policy problems. My experience on the LG's campaign was critical here; I was exposed to a wide-range of policy issues affecting Virginians. Work included: writing official campaign policies, representing the LG in meetings with policy and elected leaders, writing speeches, coordinating policy responses to our opponent's campaign, and contributing to debate prep.
Relevant Experience: Deputy Policy Coordinator, Winsome Earle-Sears for Governor; Lloyd and Bea Smith Fellow, Heritage Foundation

c. AI Policy and Governance
Summary: I'm interested in exploring how AI is affecting state-level, national, and international policy-making. I'm especially focused on the economics of AI, the politics of data center development, how AI affects GPC, and regulatory policy.
Relevant Experience:
Co-Leader of AI Policy and Governance Cohort, UChicago XLab; Deputy Policy Coordinator, Winsome Earle-Sears for Governor
